A lot has happened this month. I have set a tentative date of departure for September 20 of this year. This date is dependent upon financial needs being met. Currently my monthly support is at 43% of the $4,100 needed.
From June 13-19 I was in Orlando, FL at Pioneers USA mobilization base where I spent the week doing their LAUNCH Training. This is their pre-field training program that focused on team building, security, and handling transition. During this week, I was also able to met one of my future teammates who is also planning on arriving in Germany in September.
Sunday, June 28 was the last day for me as one of the teachers to the group of guys I have been able to lead since 2008. I will miss each one of them deeply as they all hold a special place in my heart. I hope to take the things that I learned from them and apply those things to working with teenagers in Germany. Teenagers are my passion and I desire to disciple them in Germany.
With September right around the corner, there seems to be a lot to accomplish. I pray that the Lord continues to grow my ministry partners and that through this transition in my life, His glory would be revealed.
