According to JoshuaProject.net the second largest people group living in Germany that would not be consider German or of German descent (German, Austrian/Bavarian, Mainfrankisch) are the Turkish. They make up close to 3 million of the 82 million population of Germany. Just south of Heidelberg, the small district town of Kirchheim you find a significant sized population of Turks.
This people group, from Turkey, are considered to be 100% Muslim. Thankfully, there is movement of the Holy Spirit among them. Small churches are springing up to minister to them. Pray for the Turks living in Germany that they will be open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that many will become Christ followers.
Over the last 8 years as I have been able to minister in Germany it has become apparent that the German churches lack ministry outreach. Unfortunately this has not been a focus of the local German church so they do not seem to know where to begin or what to do. Those few churches who are involved in outreach belong to the “Free Churches of Germany”. Ministry outreach will be one of my focus areas.
I urge you to consider supporting the ministry the Lord will be allowing me to do in Germany. Please consider sharing in the ministry on a monthly basis. You may give online at www.pioneers.org and my account number is 112086. All donations are tax deductible.
It would be my joy to share with you, your small group, your prayer group, or your church about the ministry in Germany. Please contact me at Tylerabowman@gmail.com to schedule a meeting.
For His Glory,
Tyler A. Bowman
