Once again I will be making a trip to Germany. I will be leaving on February 20 and return to the states March 20. I am excited about this trip, but at the same time not looking forward to it. The only reason I am not looking forward to it is because I will be in Germany during the winter time, which I have never been before. All of my previous trips have been during the summer months. But I know that this will be a rewarding trip and another experience for me to minister in Germany.
During this trip I will begin the beginning stages of my preparations to go Short-Term. This will included mainly looking at several different apartments and getting a better idea on a budget.
In May, I will be making a trip to the headquarters of Baptist International Outreach (the mission agency I plan to go out under) to meet with the Executive Council. This will give them a chance to know me and I know them at a deeper level, and also begin to build a ministry relationship with them. I look forward to this meeting as it will be another major step in this process. After this meeting, I will then be able to begin working on raising financial support.
