Christmas is upon us once again. A time for us to celebrate the birth of our
Lord and Saviour!
I write to wish you a merry Christmas and to share with you
some exciting news regarding Germany. I
was able to spend about 3 weeks in July and August serving in Stuttgart with
the 3 churches I have worked with in the past.
During this time I made arrangements with Pastor Steffen to come to
Alabama in October to meet with the mission department at my church, The Church
at Brook Hills. This was a very
successful meeting where Steffen was able to share the big picture of the work
being done with the church in Laucchau and Sindlefigen.
After this meeting the missions department met together and
approved for me to be sent out from Brook Hills Mid-terms (2 Years). I will soon be seeking full support for this
time. As of right now, my plans are to
raise support all of next year and have 100% raised by the end of 2013.
Baptist International Outreach (BIO), the mission
organization that I have used in the past has agreed to handle the financial
part while I am in Germany for the next two years. This will help serve 2 purposes; one, for me
to get more familiar with the way they operate; and secondly, for Brook Hills
to also become familiar with them. Next
June I will travel to BIO headquarters in Tennessee for a week long training in
preparations for my 2 years in Germany.
I ask that you please continue to join me in praying for the
future of what God holds for me and Germany.
I will be leaving again for Germany on Feb 20 until March 20, 2013. I will be partnering alongside the Churches
in Laucchau and Sindlefigen again, as well as the International Baptist Church
in Stuttgart.
