Dear friends,
Today I am writing to give you an update on my journey toward full time missions. I have met several times with the mission department at The Church at Brook Hills regarding the decisions and the planning necessary for me to go long term to Germany. These meetings are still taking place and will continue until the end of the summer and resume upon my return in August. My heart yearns to serve the Lord in Germany and even though this process seems to be going slowly, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I am pleased to announce that I will be returning to Stuttgart, Germany this summer. The dates for this trip are July 18 to August 11. During this time I will be serving alongside the same churches I have worked with in the past. This summer will also consist of a 5 day camp (July 27 to August 1) outside of Munich. The camp will have roughly 60 kids from the church plant in Lauchhau and the church in Sindelfingen. Included with this evangelistic outreach, I will be serving alongside the International Baptist Church in Stuttgart. I will be working with the Children’s Ministry in their VBS from Aug. 6 to Aug 10. During the rest of the time in Stuttgart, I will be engaged in various ministry opportunities at the church in Lauchhau, Sindelfingen, and IBC.
My time in Stuttgart will also be used to talk with Steffen Kahl about ministering alongside him in the future. Steffen is the pastor of both the church in Sindelfingen and Lauchhau, both German speaking churches. He has a great evangelistic mindset and vision to bring people to Christ.
Please join me in beginning to pray for this summer’s trip that the Lord will use me to bring Him glory in all that I do. Pray for the individuals that will be partnering together (there will be a team from Fishhawk Fellowship Church in Lithia, Florida; along with native Germans from the 3 churches). I also ask that you pray that all my needs are met both spiritually and financially.
Thank you for your great support over the years allowing me to minister where the Lord is leading me. I am extremely grateful to have friends who support those who are following God’s plan.
In Christ,
