There were over 112,000 applications for Asylum in Austria in 2022. Out of this number, over 13,000 were for Unaccompanied Minors (under the age of 18 without a legal adult or guardian) who sought asylum/refugee status in Austria.
From January to May of 2023, close to 18,000 individuals have sought refugee/asylum status in Austria.
