Arrived in Germany

Brothers and Sisters,

Praise God, from whom all blessings flow,
Praise  Him, all creatures here below’
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen!

This is truly a month of praise!!!  Early October I was cleared to begin the departure process to leave for Germany.  This began the task of packing my life away into suitcases and one footlocker that I would ship, followed by the process of saying “goodbye” to friends and family.

I departed for Germany on Sunday, October 25 from Birmingham, with a layover in Houston, then off to Frankfurt; arriving Monday afternoon local time.  In Frankfurt I was met by Alan R., my Team Leader with Pioneers and Co-laborer for Christ.

With this move comes new challenges and struggles.  Please join in praying for the following:

• Transition into a new culture and language learning.
• Pray for team unity among my new team (Alan & Mary, Nicole, and Bex) and that as we begin to work together we will show Christ and bring Him glory.
• For Visa paper work to go smoothly and to be accepted.
• As I begin searching for an apartment that it will be conveniently located and affordable.
• For my family and friends in Alabama during this transition.
