In the previous post that I made, I wrote about Pastor Steffen coming to Alabama to meet with the Global Disciple-Making Team at my church. This will be a great opportunity that will hopefully move my going to Germany faster than things are moving now.
Steffen will be coming in October from the 25-26. If this meeting goes well then I will be able to apply for a Short-term stay in Germany through The Church at Brook Hills and hopefully through the Mission Agency I am looking at going out under.
I ask that you please join me in praying for these dates and the meeting that we will be having. Pray that everything goes according to the will of the Lord and that His glory is shown.
As time comes, I will try my best to keep this blog up-dated as to what has happened or will happen after this meeting has taken place.
I am happy to announce that I will be returning to Germany on February 20 and will be there until March 20. The details of this trip are still being worked out.
Another prayer request I ask you to join me in is praying to Mr. Johnny. Mr. Johnny is the man who co-teaches with me the small group at Brook Hills. I am currently still teaching the same guys I taught since 4th grade and they are now in the 8th grade. Mr. Johnny was deployed to the Middle East in the beginning of August. Pray for the safety of him and the men is he leading. Also pray that any decisions that Mr. Johnny will have to make, will be prayerfully considered and made according to the will of God. I also pray that Mr. Johnny will be able to share the love of God to the men he is working with, whether they are Americans or foreigners.
