Over the past few days, I have been in contact with the mission department at the church I attend, meeting with them about my future in missions and what it will look like.
I will be graduating from Southeastern Bible College this coming May and will not be returning to Germany this summer on a mission trip. Rather, I will be taking part in a one or one and a half year long internship in another context outside of Germany and Europe.
I am eager to return to Germany and start ministry. Some of the reasons that I will not be returning to Germany is to secure within my heart that Germany is where the Lord is leading me too and also help prepare me for what life in the mission field might look like, and also prepare me so that 6 months after entering the field I am not ready to return home, tired of the missionary life.
There are several options on the table for me to consider. Right now I am still having troubles deciding on which one to do. I want to be in the will of God and not in the will of Tyler Bowman.
I ask that you please join me in prayer as I seek where God would have me to go and that through it I will be in His will of reaching the world with the Gospel to bring Him glory.
Thank you for your support and prayers.
In Christ,
Tyler A. Bowman
