First Week Back in Stuttgart

Monday, I started my German class in Stuttgart with Inlingua. It was a pretty interesting class with people from all around the world. The countries are USA, Australia, Romania, Iraq (with 3 people, not all related), Spain, Russia, Venezuela, Brazil, and Mexico. The teacher does literally everything in German, which she has to because not everyone speaks English, or any of the other languages. This will be an intense time of learning German and hopefully I will be able to put to use all that I am going to learn and remember it for the future.

Sunday night I went to the Church Plant outside Stuttgart for the evening service. It was a great time to meet everyone once again after a year apart and they are already looking to use me in the next few weeks with the Festival that will be taking place during the World Cup. Not only that, but I will also be involved with the church on Sunday, as well as on Friday afternoon for the Kids Program.

Sunday was a great time of worship at the IBC (International Baptist Church). It was also very busy for me. The day started out with going to the Church to help set up the morning breakfast for the children’s ministry and getting things set up for the children’s ministry for the day. I was scheduled to help out as the Large Group Teacher for the 9:30 hour, as well as lead the small group of 3rd to 4th grade class. It was during this time that one of the Children’s Ministry Associates came up to ask me if I would do the same for the 11:30 hour in the 1st and 2nd grade class. I was more than happy to help out.

I hope that my time here is one that is pleasing to the Lord and a time that will bring Him glory. I ask that you please continue to pray for my time here as I look to accomplish all that the Lord would have me accomplish.
