This morning I had to be up at 5:00 to get ready to chase the Bus to Sindelfingen. We went into a school and able to go into 2 classrooms. Something in America we would never be able to do. In both of these classrooms the door was opened for the Gospel message to be presented. Praise the LORD!!!!
In the first classroom, it was a Religion Class. Yes, I did write that correctly, a Religion Class, and yes this is a publicly, funded, German school. Anyway, one of the students brought some very good questions. One question in which she asked was about baptism in different religion and baby baptism. Of course with us all being Baptist, we told our view point of Believer's Only Baptism. And this of course was a door to tell them about the need to have a personal relationship with Christ. That baptism and all these good works does not get you into Heaven.
The second classroom was good, but still a little hard. As these students were about 10-11 years old. But even in this classroom, we were able to share the Gospel message. Even to about 3 Muslim students. In this classroom, of about 30 kids, we asked the question, "How many of you go to church?" about 7 raised their hands. Then we asked what they thought about it. Here they gave the one answer that I have heard before and some others in my group have heard as well. That church was boring and that is why they do not go.
This is probably the number one answer that you will get from any German youth today.
Tomorrow, we will be going into another school, but 5 classrooms. This will be fun and I am looking forward to it.
The Meet Jesus Week is going great. So far we have had 6 make a decision to follow Christ. Praise be to GOD, for His mighty work!!!!!
Please keep praying, the week is not over yet and God is still at work in Stuttgart, Germany!
